Singh Names 2023-24 Senior & Development U.S. Men’s National Team Rosters

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following the opportunity for evaluation at the Open Trial and training weekend and observation on multiple tours over the summer, U.S. Men’s National Team Head Coach Harry Singh and his staff have named the 2023-24 Senior and Development U.S. Men’s National Team rosters.

"Investing in the future of USA field hockey means nurturing fresh talent, providing them a pathway, and fostering their growth, while also fortifying our senior squad with new faces to create a culture of competitiveness and excellence," commented Singh.

Pat Harris (Moorpark, Calif.), USMNT Assistant Coach, U-21 USMNT Head Coach and Indoor USMNT, returns to the squad for the 24th consecutive year as the most experienced athlete with 162 caps. He is joined by the likes of veteran athletes in Michael Barminski (98)(Ventura, Calif.), Ajai Dhadwal (129)(Agoura Hills, Calif.), Mohan Gandhi (113)(Great Britain), Will Holt (147)(Camarillo, Calif.), Aki Kaeppeler (86)(New York City, N.Y), Adam Miller (83)(Panama City, Fla.), Johnny Orozco (104)(Ventura, Calif.), Paul Singh (96)(Simi Valley, Calif.) and Tyler Sundeen (109)(Simi Valley, Calif.).

Last year several athletes transitioned from the junior to senior program, and this year Tymen Kloen (Amsterdam, Netherlands) made that transition. He is joined by new additions Stuart Kentwell (Spring City, Pa.), who joined the squad last October; Nicholas Kuehne (2)(Munich, Germany), who was added in June.

Three returning goalkeepers were named to the squad in Hamzah Hashmi (3)(Granada Hills, Calif.), Jonathan Klages (45)(Berlin, Germany) and Amar Singh (Santa Clara, Calif.). Former Australian goalkeeper Tristan Clemons (Hattiesburg, Miss.) joined the team in March and brings with him a wealth of experience between the frame.

The Senior and Development USMNT 2023-24 training schedule is still being finalized but the senior squad is preparing for the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 in October in Chile. Members of the men’s program will face the U.S. Women’s National Team for some intersquad scrimmages from October 5 to 8 in Charlotte, N.C.
